what his point is exactly, and why he cares what someone who doesn't want to sell their Z, put it out in the market for. While there is no way your car will sell quickly for that price, there is always the chance that someone will be looking for a Z exactly like yours and will pay what you want to get it. I remember when my friend was about to buy his supra (for 25k) he was pretty ignorant and assumed by Supra prices that all Japanese sportscars were similarly priced. I of course told him he was clueless, and he said to me, "What will you take for yours?" Thinking he was lowballing me, he offered me $20k for my Z.
